As of today, Intel has entered the realm 64-bit computing with its new 600 series of Intel Pentium 4 Extreme Edition 64-bit processors (with Hyper Threading of course). The new procesors are curently available in Japan, and Europeans can also buy them online. It should also be noted that Intel has conveniently adopted processor numbering system to something that appears to make direct comparisons between processors more difficult (just incase you haven't noticed this already). More information will come in the following months as the new 600 series finds its way into the mainstream.
