Omega Driver Update
Posted :: Apr 10, 2005 by Haggs

Yesterday, the creators of the Omega driver, a third party ATI video driver, announced that they will be skipping a Catalyst 5.3 based driver due to the fact that "according to many people the Cat[alyst] 5.3 have some problems." The Catalyst 5.4 based drivers are due for release around April 16th.

While Omega is primarily known for their ATI video drivers, they also make drivers for nVidia cards from time to time. Recently Omega released their 66.93 based driver, with a 71.84 based driver to come around April 13th.
