Google Toolbar Now Available for Firefox
Posted :: Jul 8, 2005 by Haggs

The Google Toolbar is now available for Mozilla’s Firefox web browser. All of the features from Google’s original Microsoft Internet Explorer Toolbar are now available for Firefox users. This means that whether you’re using Windows, Mac OS X, or even Red Hat Linux, you can now utilize the Google Toolbar.

The Google Toolbar offers features such as spell check for webforms, autolink, which turns street addresses into links to online maps (available in the U.S. only), a word translator, page rank checker, and quick Google searching. The toolbar for Firefox is still in its beta stages, but it is available for public download.
