Well, I just wanted to give my regrets.
Yesterday a friend drove me 4 hours to Chicago to see a band called Hey Mercedes, who just so happened to be breaking up.
The concert was great, very fitting of a final fairwell. Great crowd, great performance, definitely could have been the best show I've ever been to. On the same note, June (a band I interviewed a while back as up-and-coming) opened for them, along with The Junior Varsity and Here's me Smiling. It was a great show.
I just wanted to say "Thanks" to Hey Mercedes for putting out a few great albums. Hopefully we'll see some more from their future endevours.
Keep up the good work guys. |

unsaid. Just time to move on and form new groups I guess.
Hey Mercedes stemmed from the breakup of a band called Braid (3 of the guys in Hey Mercedes were in Braid). The guys love music, so I don't see them stopping now =P
Hopefully they'll be another great band coming (Braid was awesome as well) |
