| |
One of our newest writers, Antares, will be attending the Electronics Entertainment Expo 2005. He will have the opportunity to speak with and interview many of the top names in the gaming hardware and software industry as well as get a sneak peak at up comming products. If there is anything that anyone would like him to investigate while on his upcomming trip, please post it here. It will help give him ideas for articles.
Ideas? The list of companies that will be at E3 can be found here.
My initial thoughts are for Antares to visit :
1.)Sony's booth and find out as much about PS3 as possible.
2.)Microsoft's booth to find out about Xbox 2
3.)nVidia's booth to find out about the upcomming 7XXX series of graphics cards
4.)ATI's booth to find out about their next generation of video card
5.)Blizzard Entertainment's booth to see what they have planned for WoW and Starcraft: Ghost. |

1. Either all of the PS3 and Xbox 2 info is going to be given at the big press conference or behind closed doors so you're not really going to get a scoop on that.
2. Go to Ubisoft's booth on the 18th at noon. |

I second this motion. If you can, pick me up an extra DVD.
Also, are the "phantom" people going to be here this year? It'd be funny if phantom planned on releasing soon.
Look around for Gary Coleman too, get him to say "watchu talkin about" during the phantom release. |

Newsflash:
Xbox 360 Giveaway'Every 10 Minutes for 9 Weeks!
May 17, 2005, Los Angeles, Calif.'Microsoft and Pepsi-Cola North America today announced a U.S. promotion to put Xbox 360, the next-generation videogame and entertainment system from Microsoft, into the hands of thousands of lucky people before the console hits store shelves. Beginning August 28, 2005, Mountain Dew (Pepsi's intense citrus soft drink) and Xbox will select a winner of an Xbox 360 console every 10 minutes, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for nine weeks straight.
To play, consumers will collect codes found under the caps of Mountain Dew and other participating Pepsi products and enter codes in a personal online account at www.every10minutes.com. Participants will be able to choose which 10-minute drawing to enter and can then spread codes across different drawings or stockpile codes and put them all toward one drawing. In addition, codes entered will automatically earn the participants points toward obtaining collectible merchandise and gear.
Gaming industry executives attending this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles will get an exclusive opportunity to be among the first 10 people to have a chance to win an Xbox 360 through a special "Peel-to-Play" contest. Free 20-ounce bottles of Mountain Dew containing game pieces produced exclusively for the event will be distributed to E3 attendees on Wednesday, May 18, and Thursday, May 19. In addition to the 10 Xbox 360 consoles, winning game pieces will be good for Xbox games, Mountain Dew T-shirts, hats, and other prizes.
