Heres an email I recieved from Neoya's tech support.
If there is only purple tint issues with your X2VGA, don't worry too much. The problem about incorrect screen color exists in a few batches of Xbox that manufactured later in time after the X2VGA was released; upon noticing this problem, we made the necessary modfications to the product at once. Therefore, customers who placed their orders after mid December 2003 should receive X2VGAs adaptable to all versions of Xboxes.
Turns out that anyone with a similar problem can actually send the X2VGA back to them and have it modified for only the cost of shipping it to them. Of course I didn't find this out until several days after I placed an order for an X2VGA+ adapter and already recieved the email saying that it had been shipped Sad
Oh well not a big deal. As long as I know I'll be able to return to playing games in HD then I'm happy. I figured I'd just post this here so if anyone else had this problem they could find out how it can be solved. |
I just got a response as well, saying pretty much the same thing... Sorry it couldn't have come soon. |
