SR-71 Name?

I was reading through this pdf on NASA's X-43A and I ran across a quote about an aircraft known as the SR-71. "The X-43A more than doubled
the top speed of the jet-powered SR-71." Does anyone know if this is actually where the band's name came from?

I remember the band, and more notably, the bright green album cover with a robot on it. As for the name, im not sure =P

Yes. When I listened to the bad back in my days of youth, that was one tidbit of trivia I remembered.

i too was down the path of **** music at one point with music like

then i listened to GOOD bands that DIDNT just play a D chord over and over
like Led Zeppelin and other 70s rock bands, i think im better off now
now ive moved to like 70s rock along with stuff from Astralwerks...
i wish Green Day would rise from the dumpster, in the 90s they were a pretty good band now theyve sold out and suck as much as Simple Plan or Taking Back Sunday
