You heard me correctly, Gamestop.com's front page is announcing the release date as August 3rd. They are also offering special stuff to anyone who pre-orders. Here is the banner on their front page:

i agree wholeheartedly with that, but i still pre-ordered both of em...i love doom and i love half life even more, why choose between one or the other when you can have both and be twice as happy Very Happy

esrb just rates them, pretty sure it would be the company's job to enforce
plus, he needs a credit card to order online... (assuming he did so online), in which case he needs to be 18, or have a parent sign off...

whoa. just got around to reading Electronic Gaming's review of doom3, apparently there's a level that's completely pitch black and you can either hold a flashlight or gun, not both.

I think i'm going to pick this game up when it comes out, i haven't seen the required specs for pc yet, could someone post them? i'm guessing along the lines of 1.3ghz, 512mb ram, 128mb videocard, dx9.0b, 3-4 gigs of hdd
