The Register is reporting that many UK ATMs will be switching operating systems soon. While on the move from IBM's OS/2 to Windows (and IP networks) some companies have requested they also run virus protection. I think most of you would agree that some sort of protection is in order, just think about running your home PC with no virus protection. Exactly.
ATMs in peril!
I can see one big virus taking out most of the UK ATMs. Anyone have any comments? |
